Baila Unidos Fundraiser


WHO: The Reno Latin Dance Fest and Silver Legacy Resort Casino with music by DJ R-Boogie and DJ Kentot 

WHAT: A hurricane relief fundraiser hosted by the Reno Latin Dance Fest which will include dance lessons, Latin Dancing and special performances. All of the proceeds will be donated to Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief, Sonoma County Fire Relief and Mexico Earthquake Relief. 

COVER CHARGE: This is a 21 and older event. A $5 cover will be charged before 7:30 p.m. and $10 after. Media should contact William R Flanders for a no-cover guest list.

WHEN:  Thursday, Nov. 30 

   Doors 7:00 p.m. 

   Dance lesson: 7:30 p.m. taught by BB and Kiki of Salsa Reno

   Latin Dancing: 8:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. music by DJ R-Boogie and DJ Kentot

   Special performances: 9:00 p.m.  by Alma Reno, DAME Sonrisas, Gerzon & Diana, Mariah & Andrea, Reno Touch plus Spencer & Betsy.

WHY: In January, the Reno Latin Dance Fest will celebrate its 10th anniversary and wants to kick-off the celebration in a way that gives back to the communities who have contributed to the Fest’s success. Many of the areas affected by the recent natural disasters directly affect Fest attendees, giving the organizers all the reason to host this special event.

Sonoma County Fire Relief

To provide emergency and long term relief to the fire victims in Sonoma County by maximizing our strong network of local residents in Sonoma County and partnering with individuals, schools, youth sports programs, businesses, and other organizations outside of the fire zones interested in making a difference.

Topos MX

Topos de Tlateloco was founded after the devastating 1985 earthquake in Mexico that killed thousands. It is a professional nonprofit rescue brigade. Topos, which means “moles” in Spanish, is mobilizing to find survivors of this earthquake.
